Director of Claims Operations - CORE Group

Marissa Savo has been in the insurance industry for 9 years. She began her journey in a boutique office in Solana Beach, CA that catered to the ALE needs of policyholders along the west coast. While with this company, she successfully trained a team of claim managers that handled losses from coast to coast and quickly became the Senior Claims Manager that handled the relocation of HNW policyholders. I created a training manual and process to ensure prompt attention and a cohesive customer service experience. After 4 years, Marissa moved on to another temporary housing company, this one out of Chicao, IL. While at this company, she again grew their HNW division, putting in place best practices to successfully relocate families in the most sought after zip codes and with very particular needs. Her work as the lead Claims Manager for their HNW division gave her the ability to implement CAT strategies and tips to facilitate housing for the HNW policyholder. Since January 2022, she has transitioned to CORE Group as the Director of Claims Operations. Gaining the trust of the HNW carrier in this space and working with the CORE team to secure that business is an exciting new arena for her and looks forward to what they will be able to accomplish together!
